TAKE ACTION NOVEMBER 14-16! Boycott T(rump)-Mobile: https://tmobileboycott.org/# People are choosing to boycott T-Mobile for a couple of reasons. First they have partnered with Elon Musk (see our Boycott Tesla page too) to use his StarLink service. By contracting with Starlink, T-Mobile is funding Elon Musk’s attacks on democracy in the US and thus complicit in his assault on working people and his support of far-right authoritarian governments around the world.
Those concerned about the companies that are dismantling their DEI programs to curry favor with the Trump administration are also upset that T-Mobile did just that in hopes of getting a couple of deals approved by the FCC. Learn more here.
FIND MORE INFORMATION HERE: This group is encouraging us all to cancel their T-Mobile contracts the weekend of November 15th. The site also has a lot of information to help understand why they want everyone to "hang up on T-Mobile." https://tmobileboycott.org/
The following article details some of the pressures T-Mobile is facing and helps us understand that boycotting T-Mobile now can have a real impact. https://www.thestreet.com/retail/t-mobile-suffers-massive-boycott-from-customers "A recent LendingTree survey found that 31% of Americans have boycotted a business for reasons such as the company's condoning of discrimination, its political donations, affiliations, or religious messaging or practices. Also, 45% of Americans said that before a purchase from a business, they sometimes research the company’s values or beliefs.
“Any company that attempts to downplay the importance of politics in their customers’ shopping choices does so at its own peril,” said LendingTree Chief Consumer Finance Analyst Matt Schulz in the survey. “Your potential customers are listening closely to what your business says, whether you like it or not.”
