FACE MASKS OK TO USE AT DEMONSTRATIONS: FYI, according to a police officer I spoke to by calling City Services at 311 on May 6, right now Arizona does NOT have any ordinances banning the use of face masks at demonstrations. (This is a topic because when the federal authorities crack down on demonstrations, they use facial recognition to identify demonstrators.)
There is a lot more that will be added to this page, but for now (May 2025) here are some resources to help you get started.

We need more volunteers to learn the art of peacekeeping through non-violence from these veterans. We want to be as prepared as possible if confronted by counter protesters or agitators who show up to disrupt the peace. Verbal conflict can escalate to violence quickly, so please join us to learn some strategies to keep everyone as safe as possible. |
