ABOUT US
The Boycott and Build Team is an all volunteer group of concerned citizens. We understand that one of the most important ways we help shape our democracy and our world is how we choose to spend and invest our money each and every day. We believe that as we point the finger at others for why our democracy is faltering, we must also look at the fingers pointing back at us. We understand that we have all helped build the economic system that enriches those who have bought our government. We seek to help everyone understand that we have an American oligarchy whose wealth was created with "we the people's" collective dollars. Our Team is excited to come together to help support those already standing and using economic power to build an economy that supports our democratic values and help educate and inspire others to do the same.
OUR MISSION
We believe that the best path toward a just society based in democratic values lies in our collective economic power. We strive to provide a home for those seeking peaceful ways to actively participate in resisting the growing American oligarchy and the damaging influence their extreme wealth (sadly derived from all of us) is having on our democracy.
We provide information on how to pressure the multi-faceted "pillars of support of authoritarianism" that are directly supporting or capitulating to the current administration (regime). We know that if we act together we CAN and WILL build a better world and save our democracy.
We seek to build strong economies and strong local communities by helping consumers understand why they must be citizens first, and informed consumers second. Our work provides viable options for those who seek to quietly and privately be an activist as well as those comfortable being more visible in their actions.
